What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving? My parents will be visiting Las Vegas this Thanksgiving and there should be very little arguing around the supper table, since my little brother is unable to make the trip this year. I am thankful for my family, which includes Team LVDerm, where I spend the majority of my time doing important and fulfilling work: curing cancer, clearing skin eruptions and acne, discovering the reason for a patient’s ailment and using botulinum toxins, fillers, lasers, hydrafacial and other devices to make the world a healthier & more beautiful place.
Late last week, a friend said that it’s sad when people don’t have a life partner with whom to share their success- she cited Tom Brady’s divorce as proof that being with someone is better than being alone. I argued that achieving fulfillment doesn’t require another person, friends or even a life partner. We spoke about my friend, Lucy Jacobs, an Auschwitz survivor who had everything taken away from her, but who continues to find purpose in telling her story and connecting with others. I’m ready to move forward into 2023 with my DermBro, Dr. David Cotter, and team LV Derm. TikTok remains a source of inspiration, education and time drainage- nevertheless, I continue to make content on everything from skin cancer, keloids, and cysts to in office shenanigans, Pink Wednesdays, and Dr. Suh & Dr. Hong visiting team LVDerm from Seoul, South Korea for hydrafacial. We have done our best to overcome difficulties with a positive attitude toward the future- that includes our Kybella Gobbler removal event & Sciton BBL specials for the remainder of November.
