Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are one of the most popular non-invasive cosmetic procedures performed to improve acne, balance skin color and rejuvenate the appearance of your skin. Over time, the development of pigment irregularities, fine lines, acne or acne scars can cause skin to lose its even, smooth, youthful appearance. There are many different types of peels depending on your particular skin condition; some peels are more aggressive and others are more gentle depending upon your downtime availability, budget, skin goals and concerns. Our aesthetician team is experienced in all types of peels. We have peels to make you glow and shine or a peel that will make you shed unwanted skin layers for days by treating deeper skin damage.

Once you’ve had your peel, our staff will assist you in choosing products to maintain your results. Having great looking skin begins with a basic assessment of your skin care needs. A visia camera image can show you problem areas and give a good baseline from which to begin your skin care journey.

Often performed on the face, neck, and hands, various types of chemical peels can reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles, scars, and uneven pigmentation, as well as treat acne and pre-cancerous skin lesions. In order to choose the appropriate peel for your skin condition, please call our team at Las Vegas Dermatology to set up your complimentary cosmetic consultation at 702-456-3120, or click here.

Which is more dangerous, “Tanning beds” or, “Natural sun light”? The answer is both. The healthy glow from tanning is just an indication of skin damage from the ultraviolet rays. Both forms of tanning can be very harmful for your skin putting you at a higher risk for skin cancer. Most definitely do NOT use tanning beds. Try avoiding the sun between the hours of 10-am – 4pm and remember to always wear your sunscreen. #Tanning #Skin #UVRays #LVDerm ... See MoreSee Less
