Laser Skin Rejuvenation

Bothered by unwanted brown spots? Come experience a “No Down Time” Laser Facial Rejuvenation procedure at Las Vegas Dermatology. Using our RevLite SI Q switched Nd:Yag Laser to target discoloration and heat the collagen, we are able to improve the overall appearance and feel of the skin. A series of laser facial treatments can be performed over the course of a few months to maximize the benefits. This same laser is used to remove unwanted tattoo ink from the skin, but with the settings adjusted the laser is perfect to target unwanted skin hyperpigmentation. Laser facial treatments take 10-20 minutes with 3 hours or so of redness. Treatments are usually spaced out every couple weeks over the first 3 months to maximize results with intermittent treatments used to maintain results after the initial series has been completed. The goal is to have nice, even skin tones free from hyperpigmented or excessively dyspigmented areas. Practicing sun avoidance and adding in a bleaching cream, microdermabrasion, dermal roller, chemical peel or custom skin care regimen may enhance your results. Each patient is different, so having a one on one consultation with our team is an essential first step toward better looking skin.

A Visia camera image may be taken prior to your first laser treatment to provide you with a skin damage baseline assessment. Once we have established a starting point for your journey toward healthier and more beautiful skin, we can measure your progress as our laser facial rejuvenation treatment regimen lightens and brightens your skin’s appearance. Las Vegas Dermatology is proud to serve the Las Vegas, Summerlin and Henderson areas with the most modern science, technology and products available. Confused on which sunscreen to buy? There are two different types of sunscreens: physical and chemical. Physical sunscreens are made up of titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. You should wait 20 minutes after applying your sunscreen before going out in the sun with a chemical sunscreen, allowing the screen time to absorb. Always apply sunscreen prior to being outdoors, and re-apply if you will be outside for longer than 2 hours or if you go swimming. ... See MoreSee Less
